‘Tell me what you can,’ he said.
‘There’s a Fullroy look-a-like who replaces him in prison. A man, I have no idea who he is, gets made up to look just like Fullroy. They do the swap-over at visiting time. Fullroy comes out, he goes in, and it gives Fullroy time outside. Fullroy then disguises himself as a person called Retir W. Doog.’
Conrad and James were now leaning forward in their chairs, their elbows on the table looking at Genevieve.
‘How did you work all this out?’ Conrad asked.
‘That’s not important,’ Ogilvie said. ‘Where can we find this Retir W. Doog.’
‘I have his cell phone number,’ Rebecca said. ‘You can call him.’
Ogilvie sat back, twiddled his pen between his fingers, and looked into the distance before turning back to Rebecca. ‘Have you talked to him before?’ he asked her.
‘Yes.’
He paused, this time looking down at his notepad. ‘Can you help us set up a sting operation?’ he said.
‘If it isn’t too dangerous,’ Rebecca answered. ‘If you can guarantee that none of us will get hurt.’
‘Nobody’s going to get hurt,’ Ogilvie said scribbling something on his notepad. ‘Nobody’s going to get hurt,’ he repeated.
‘Then I suppose,’ Rebecca answered after a short pause. ‘We can help you.’
Ogilvie stood up taking his notepad with him. ‘Please wait here. I’m going to get clearance for this and we’ll go from there,’ he said opening the door. As he was about to leave the room, he turned to Rebecca. ‘Your hair looks great,’ he said and then shut the door.

After what seemed like ages, Ogilvie returned with two men wearing suits.
‘These gentlemen have been involved in the case and will be assisting us,’ Ogilvie said with a sweep of his arm towards the two men. Expressionless they nodded in unison.
